Dr. Charles Bogie was born in Oklahoma City and has lived most of his life in either Tulsa or Oklahoma City. He attended college at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Oklahoma at Norman, where he majored in chemistry. He was selected for the M.D./Ph.D. dual degree program through the University of Oklahoma and completed both his medical degree and doctoral degree from 1990 to 1997. At that point, he entered the University of Oklahoma Department of Ophthalmology and finished his ophthalmology training in 2001. Dr. Bogie was a staff Ophthalmologist at Dean Mcgee Institute for nearly ten years and spent the last three years as the Residency Program Director for the Training Program at Dean McGee. Dr. Bogie provides comprehensive surgical and medical ophthalmology services with an interest in cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, and ophthalmic trauma.
